When Bentleys Go Awry

Browsing though the listings at Anglia for this month’s Auction News, I found the following story in two pictures:

1989 BENTLEY TURBO R SPECIAL. FITTED UPGRADES INCLUDE LATER STYLE  WHEELS, STAR CHIPPED ENGINE MANAGEMENT, STAINLESS EXHAUST TRIM PLUS OTHER EXTRAS TOTALLING OVER £12000. VENDOR STATES THIS CAR HAS BEEN CAREFULLY STORED FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS AND HAS A CURRENT MOT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2010. ESTIMATE £12000-£15000

Then…whoopsie. This is what they mean by British understatement.
