Six Degrees of Automotive Separation: Auburn, Indiana

Auburn - Indiana

Back to our normal Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenge this week, we ask you: How can one link Auburn, one of the most graceful vehicles known to man, with a truck? Specifically, to Indiana, a truck that takes its name from the state in which we find the car’s municipal namesake?

It is certainly possible, and we were able to do it in six steps. If you need a little help, some of the links we used have already been explored in previous Six Degrees challenges, though a couple have not.

The rules, as before, are simple: A connection consists of one company owning another, merging with another or sharing another’s parts. Explain your connections, and as before, the point isn’t necessarily to do it in the least number of connections, but to do it with style and with obscure connections. If you need examples, check out our previous Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenges.

BTW, bonus points to the person who can link Indiana (the truck maker) to additional marques named for other cities in Indiana (the state).
