Another reader submission from Jersey, another use of alliteration in the title. Today we have some photos sent in to us from Barry Herman of Warren, New Jersey. Barry writes:
Every morning I drive to work I pass this abandoned house and the garage has this old Ford truck exposed to the street. On closer observation, the roof of the garage is resting on top of the truck. There are actually 2 trucks in the garage, but I couldn’t get a good picture because the roof of the garage is so unstable.
Yes, that does appear to be a humpback panel truck, doesn’t it?
And that would explain why the Fords are still resting there. If that were up here in Vermont, the barn itself would likely be more valuable for its wood and already have been torn down.
As for what’s up with the triple front bumper and Packard bumper guard, we don’t know. Maybe this was somebody’s hot rod way back when.
