1985 Chevy K10 with a 496 ci Big-Block V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Music City Trucks built this 1985 Chevy K10 as a tribute to the Fall Guy GMC truck. In the engine bay they installed a 496 ci Chevy big-block V8 capable of 583 hp and 602 lb-ft of torque. The motor features Eagle forged crank and rods, Icon forged pistons, and longtube exhaust headers. On top sits Trick Flow PowerPort 320 cc heads and Weiand Track Warrior intake manifold with an Edelbrock VRS-4150 750 cfm carburetor. Behind the V8 is a TCI Automotive Super StreetFighter 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission controlled by a Edelbrock TC controller. A NP241C transfer case splits power between Dana 60 eight-lug axles with locking differentials and 4.10 ratio. The truck rides on a Summit Skyjacker lifted suspension and stops thanks to large two-piston calipers with drilled/slotted rotors.
