Palmer Designs built this GMC motorhome to beat the world record at Bonneville this year. They missed the record of 128.62 mph by only 7.78 mph. To reach a new world record it is probably a good idea to run a new motor. So the original Oldsmobile 455 motor was thrown out for a 502 cubic-inch Chevy V8. More information and photos.
