Als James Bond in ''Der Spion, der mich liebte'' mit einem Lotus Esprit auf Tauchstation ging, war es noch pure Fiktion. Insgesamt sechs Esprit mussten dran glauben (s. Quelle). Jetzt hat Frank M. Rinderknecht mit Rinspeed bewiesen (s. auch Cardomain.com-Mitglieder-Artikel ), dass ein Lotus - mit ein paar kleinen Umbauten, z.B. die komplette Umrüstung auf ein Green-Car - durchaus Unterwasserqualitäten besitzt. Wie die folgennden Filme beweisen.

Vielleicht würde mir Rinspeed ja die Elise mal leihen, um damit Sonntags beim MotoClub aufzutauchen?
