Irgendwie waren die Zeiten 1979 auch nicht besser als heute...wenn man zumindest den Ausführungen von Jimmy Carter vom 15. Juli 1979 Glauben schenken darf: "...It's clear that the true problems of our Nation are much deeper—deeper than gasoline lines or energy shortages, deeper even than inflation or recession...". Nachzulesen in seiner Rede an die Nation "Crisis of Confidence".
