Tired of the same old stuff in the hot rod community, Yannick Sire set off to create on something unique. Something that would combine dragster type power with the Rad Rod aesthetics. He also required it to be comfortable and dependable to drive.
The engines are two Chevy 350 ci with AFR heads making about 450 horsepower each. Since all the accessories are attached to the rear engine, the car can still operate with the front engine gone. Custom headers relieve the 16 cylinders and also create...

When completed this will be one really unique 1969 Camaro. Under the hood will be GM’s supercharged LS9 crate engine and a custom built Viper based T-56 transmission. The frame will consist of an Art Morrison subframe and a custom built rear frame that will be built to handle 1,000 horsepower. A Detroit Speed & Engineering Quadralink rear end will be used to hold the power to the ground. The body will be widened five inches (2.5″ on each side) to accommodate Forgeline 18×10 up...

At some point a S2000 lost control and wrapped the back end around a tree or pole. Unfortunatly the body was lost but the S2000’s heart got a second chance. The 247 horsepower F20C found a new place inside the engine bay of a 1965 Ford Cortina. The F20C is using all factory wiring and ECM. Also installed is a full roll cage and upgraded suspension to help this classic iron in the turns. The car currently weights 1,800 lbs which is roughly 1,000 lbs lighter then a S2000.

Don’t worry its not a real Ferrari F40 but a F40 Silhouette kit car. I would have expected far too many F40 owners’ to spontaneously combust had it been real. Now I know this technically doesn’t fall under an engine swap since kit cars are not intended for a specific engine but I felt it was too cool pass on. Instead of a twin turbocharged 2.9L V8 which Ferrari choose to power a real F40, the builders decided to go with a 700 horsepower twin turbocharged 4.0L 1UZ-FE Toyota V8....

After racing this 1991 NSX for six years in mostly NASA & NSX-only events, Ms. Badwrench Racing decided to build what they call “the Ultimate NSX Hybrid“. They were going to take the factory Honda C30A V6 and replace it with a GM LS7 V8. Their goal was to make a streetable car that resembled a Daytona Prototype or ALMS GT-1 racecar.
The LS7 engine will produce 750 horsepower and 700 torque running on E-85 ethanol. The engine will be similar to the one that Katech builds for the...
Originally the owner had a Ford 302 and C6 tranmission. But the setup didnt produce the power the owner wanted. So out went the Ford and in went the bowtie. A LS1 and 4160e was gutted from a 1998 Camaro. The owner also decided to boost the power through a single turbo conversion.

I came across this beginner’s guide on swapping Gen III LS series engine into a classic truck. Some may find it useful and others might not. Just wanted to pass it along.
Rhys Millen Racing is building a mid-engine RWD Hyundai Genesis coupe for SEMA 2009. The engine is the 4.6L V8 from a Genesis sedan. About the only change to the engine will be new pistons that should up the compression to 10.9:1 or possibly 11:1. Edmunds guesses the engine will be putting out around 450 horsepower. Getting the power from the engine will be a Mendeola S5 sequential gearbox. As you can see from the photos a lot is being done to the body to accept a mid-engine placement. The car...
Built by E-Shift Performance in New Jersey, this BMW E39 M5 sedan is powered by a single turbo 2JZ Toyota Supra engine. E-Shift Performance also built the other BMW swap which can be seen in the link below. There are a lot of comments over at Speedhunters. Most of the comments are… well negative.

Wrecked Racing is a student run automotive club at Georgia Tech. The team is comprised of undergraduate students all from different majors such as mechanical engineers, computer science majors, and electrical engineers. Each year Wrecked Racing enters the Grassroots Motorsports Challenge. Each team can only spend the amount of money equal to the year it is held in. So this year teams could only spend $2,009...
Talk about way too much power. This video shows how much fun can be had when you take a Honda CBR 900RR motorcycle engine and slap it on the back of a gokart frame.

There were only 400 Cadillac Eldorado Broughams made in 1957. After Drivers Street Rods get done with it there will none like it on the face of the earth. Divers has swapped the original engine for a 6.6L Duramax Diesel V8 which normally produces 300 horsepower and 520 torque. Divers estimates they will increase the power to 1,000 horsepower and 1,500 torque.
This is what the car looked like when it arrived at Divers Street Rods.

Another post with very limited knowledge of the vehicle. All we know is what the title says. Like always anymore information on this will be greatly appreciated. These pictures could have been taken during the F-100 Super Tour or F-100 Supernationals as I was able to find a few other pictures of this truck during those events.
