Look at the picture above closely - notice anything different? It’s turned around in the garage. Know how I did that? I drove it around the block. Three times!
It’s rough, it’s not quite ready for prime time, but nothing beats the feeling you get after your first run around the block in a car you’ve stripped down to nearly nothing. We got some video of the event, but we’re having technical difficulties getting it on the air. Once we get that squared away, though, you’ll be the first to see it here.
Of course, no such voyage happens entirely without trouble.
Puked a little power steering fluid. I found a loose fitting on one of the power steering lines that caused the burp. Other than that and the lack of a vehicle speed sensor and thus a couple stalls at stop signs, however, HMX ran well and strong for the little trip.
