Bill and Connor on Mt. Washington

tossin rocks off Mt. Washington

I keep meeting Bill Miles of Ashland, Massachusetts, at various truck shows around the Northeast and ran into him again at last week’s cruise-in, when he won Editor’s Choice for his 1953 GMC 3100 with a Hydra-Matic. He had told me that the cruise-in capped a several-days event tour of New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont with his son, Connor, the highlight of which (besides winning Editor’s Choice, of course…) was a run up Mt. Washington. I told him to send along a few pics of the trip, which he did.

I tell ya, that’s what having a collector vehicle is all about - driving it whenever and wherever possible and using it to strengthen your family’s ties. Bill does all of that, so hat’s off to him.
