Since I never miss an opportunity to demonstrate my ignorance, I'm just going to admit that I had no idea Suzuki's Equator won Petersen's 4 Wheel and Off Road's 4x4 of the year. While I haven't driven one, I can say the example in the Suzuki booth looks ready to go through a brick wall. Now, nobody builds better bikes than Suzuki—sorry, Honda—and I've long thought that if the company started focusing more on its four-wheeled products, they'd be force to be reckoned with. And after looking at the Equator, the SX4s and the Grand Vitara Suzuki brought to the show this year, I'm even more convinced this company is going to come up in a big way.
