Ok, so I'm mixing it up again, but these cars are both brand new for the 2010 model year. Pricing isn't official, but the V8 Camaro and 370Z will likely start somewhere near (and probably north of) the $30k mark. Yes, the V8 Camaro has more hp and more seats, but that comes with more weight. The 370Z's 3.7 liter V6 is expected to put out around 350 hp, while the big 6.2 liter V8 in the Camaro will produce around 400 hp. Both cars are RWD and have IRS. Oh, and the Nissan pic to the left is a photochop I found--the car won't be officially revealed until the LA Auto Show in November (edit: this may be a better rendition). So, which would you choose?
I have a 2000 Z28 with a crap load of mods, and it is a beast. I have driven alot of 350z's in my time and the Camaro is by far the best choice. Not only the looks and the interior, but it will be a beast stock. People tend to think that horsepower wins races, that is so wrong, It's torque. You would be more pleased with the new camaro.
