For all of you who think that hot-rodding is just an American hobby, oh how wrong you would be. You see over in Japan hot-rodding and car customizing is a major aspect of their car culture, so much so in fact that the city of Yokohama plays host to one of the coolest gatherings on the planet earth. On December 5th, 2010 the Pacifico Yokohama International Exhibition Hall will host the 19th annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show and bring together some of the greatest two and four-wheeled creations from around the globe. Hot Rods, custom motorcycles, t-buckets, low-riders and just about every other form of custom vehicle will be on display. The above video is just a preview of the various artists and machines that will be present. The only bad part about this exhibition in my opinion is that it’s held 7000 miles away from NY. Oh well… maybe next year.
