What was your first car?

When I was 16 years old my Aunt Christine was kind enough to give me my first car. It was a royal blue 1979 Mercury Capri with 4 different tires, a wicked vacuum leak and a 4-cylinder engine that made a whopping 88 hp. It had one speaker in the center of the dash, roll-up windows and only two of the four headlights actually worked. You see back then when you turned 16 all any kid wanted to do was drive. There were no cell phones, no internet and hell, even having cable TV was a big deal. I remember that little Capri being the greatest car of all time, which got me thinking. For those of you that read the site, what was your first car and what did it mean to you?
