Last night, we attended the Need for Speed Undercover launch party in Hollywood. It was pretty busy - traffic on the 101 freeway was pretty crazy in both directions; not necessarily because of the NFS launch event, but because there was a big red carpet...(read more)
When I was in my teens, every year I'd look forward to the six hour drive from Vancouver to Oregon, to watch the G.I. Joes Grand Prix at Portland International Raceway. It was an amazing time for sports car racing in America, with factory entries...(read more)
I just got back to my apartment after spending the day at Tsukuba Circuit for a big drift and grip soukoukai event hosted by HPI. I have to say that I this is one of THE best events I have ever been to. In fact, if someone could attend just one event to get a taste of Japanese car life, this one would have been perfect. I'm dead tired and have a ton of photos to go through, so for now I'll just post up a few quick photos showing some of today's highlights....(read more)
Sorry for the delay in getting this post out guys... my todo list is currently out of control. Spending 2 weeks travelling at SEMA, EA DICE Sweden, Superlap Battle and Red Bull Long Beach now means that I'm rather snowed under at the office.
So without further a due, let's jump in to our review of the Top 16 battles from the Red Bull Drifting World Championships....(read more)

Last night, I attended the Nissan 370Z launch party at J-Lounge in Downtown LA. Very fun, but after scoping out the scene, I decided I didn't really want to lug around my camera equipment in such a crowded atmosphere - especially since it was open...(read more)
As part of Nissan month, we wanted to take a look back at the lineage of some of the popular models that Nissan has produced over the years. With the recent unveiling of the 370Z, I'd say the Fairlady and Z models are a perfect place to start. While many will trace the roots of the Z back to the S30 in the early '70s, you can't really talk about the Z without going back to the original Fairlady Roadsters like the 1968 SRL311 Fairlady 2000 pictured above. The Mazda MX5 gets a lot of...
Our resident video editor: Riley Vigier started calling this video "Ultimate Drift" during the course of the post production process. It's a fairly good descriptor for this Speedhunters drifting art film. We've basically taken all our...(read more)

Nissan has just debuted its redesigned second generation Cube in Japan, and though that might not like sound like a big deal to people outside of Japan, the new Cube will also be sold in the US starting next year. It will join the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, and Scion xB as another entry in the fuel efficient compact wagon segment. The car retains all the funky features of the original Cube and should be similar in size to the original Scion xB....(read more)
