Advanced Mechanical Products offers a totally electric Saturn Sky conversion for around $25,000. You will have to provide the car but if you have the money they will replace your engine with 2 electric motors (one for each back wheel) and a bunch of lithium phosphate batteries. Current performance numbers shows the Sky goes 0-60 in 5.9 secs, a 150 mile range and has a top speed of 90mph. Currently the offer is only available for people living in Cincinnati, Ohio area but I am sure if you are willing to totally waive the service warranty AMP might allow someone outside of Ohio to get one.
