We had a blast at last year’s New England Concours d’Elegance , and as long as you made it up to Stratton Mountain, Vermont, for last July’s event, we hope you did too. If you didn’t, you’ll have another chance to take in the splendor of the Green Mountains and a field of awesome automobiles again this July for the 2009 event.
We’ve made a couple noteworthy changes for this year. To begin with, our featured classes this year will focus on Packard, Maserati, Dodge’s Charger and Jaguar’s saloons. In addition, we will spotlight a couple unusual categories of vehicles: We’ll have an in-restoration section as well as a group of his-n-hers cars.
We’ve also named a charity this year with which we will share a portion of the proceeds: Camp Ta-Kum-Ta , which this year moves to South Hero, Vermont.
The full schedule of events, including dates for the 2009 event, is now up on the Hemmings website.
So if you have a car you feel worthy of hitting the green at Stratton, leave a comment here or send an email to Richard Lentinello at
