SIA Flashback - Search for the Junior Jeep

We covered a few of these so-called “junior Jeeps” in last year’s March Military Campaign, but Major F.W. Crimson gave the run-down in SIA #40, May-July 1977, on the reasons behind the military’s search for a lighter Jeep (and subsequent cancellation of that search) and all the companies that aimed for that contract. I still want a Crosley Pup in all the worst ways.
