photos from the Fostoria, Michigan, salvage yard auction

Commenter thedude, aka Jasen Ramsey, said he was able to attend the Bob’s Auto Parts auction in Fostoria, Michigan, over the weekend, and came back with some junkyard shots that we know you all will enjoy.

Not much worth saving in there. Went to the preview and the first auction day. The gold is in the buses and trailers. That stuff wasnt up for auction yet. But what a trip back in time. Definitely worth the trip to see it.

Indeed, I see a Power Wagon, some Edsels, an AMX humping a Concord (just imagine the offspring) and all sorts of other rusty hulks that perhaps should have been saved decades ago.

In addition, Jasen sent along a link to Flickr user gab482’s photos of the same auction. I definitely should have stopped when I had the chance.
