* Yes, we’ve been following the news of the famed BMW art cars’ U.S. tour, and we’re pretty jazzed to see them coming to New York. May just have to make a trip down there. But if you can’t happen to make it to one of the stops on the tour, 0-60 Magazine has something darn close to the experience - a bunch of high-resolution wallpapers of the art cars . Clickity, download and enjoy.

* We previously mentioned Liberty Motors’ ACE three-wheeler , an homage to the Morgan trike built here in the United States. Liberty has recently begun limited production and delivery of the three-wheelers, and has received some attendant press coverage in Britain’s Telegraph.

* JDo recently forwarded me a website he came across dedicated to historical automobile dealerships in Camden, New Jersey , including Rohrer Chevrolet, pictured above. Some of the dealerships seem to be pretty well fleshed out (Rohrer had an H-D Servicycle , for instance), while others are merely listed. Makes me wish more people documented their towns’ dealership history.

* Glad to see Jenn still posting over at CarDomain’s blog; she recently stumbled across this Omni that was converted to electric when new by JMJ Electric Corporation. According to the electric vehicle encyclopedia , JMJ also electrified Rabbits and Dodge D-50s, though there’s not much more on the company there.

* Finally, Amazon’s CarLust blog has a post up on the 1960 DiDia 150 , which looks like a Ford concept car from the early to mid-1950s, but was actually handbuilt for musician and actor Bobby Darin. With diamond dust in the paint. More on it over at the H.A.M.B. and on a Darin fan page .
