Italian Masterpiece Art on an Italian Masterpiece

This Lamborghini Gallardo was sitting next to the Tap Out slammed Surburban at the Goin’ Hard Wheel booth, and while I find customized Exotic Cars quite nauseating, this one was actually quite tasteful. Continue reading after the jump!

I couldn’t find any information as to the actual sculpture this artwork is based on, but it is a depiction of the Madonna and the body of her son Jesus. If I remember anything about the original, it is sculpted in Italian marble, and housed in either the Vatican, or the Louvre. Anyway, this is a very well done piece of art.

The Detail of the Angels on each door is also very well done. It is truly an Italian Masterpiece decorated by other Italian works of art.
