It seems that lately this olelongrooffan has been seeing multiple vehicles of the same, or similar, make. Just since Cpt. Severe named this series of posts the last week in May, I have spotted three LaSalle automobiles, several Chrysler Imperials, at least two El Dorados and I forget what all else this olelongrooffan has spotted. Well, last evening on my way back to my Taj Mahal I spotted something similar to what I saw for Truck Thursday a week or so ago.
That’s right my fellow Hoons. Another Bowtie pickup truck with a wooden bed. Although this one was an S10 as opposed to the C10 I spotted out by the beach. I’m not really sure about the exhaust pipes exiting through that wood rear rail. I remember the body kit on my daughter’s mother’s Camry melting around the area where the exhaust pipe exited it.
He did install a relatively cool Bowtie emblem on the deck of that aftermarket pine wood bed. Like the bed itself, it appears to be homemade.
It would (sic) appear to this olelongrooffan that with those open wheel wells that any rain this buggy is driven in would splash off the rotation of those rear tires and get all over the bed itself. A rooster tail of the S10 variety.
But I guess this dude is letting the tread wear on the shoes so they will become slicks and then not have that problem.
