The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association will sponsor its Vintage Motorcycle Classic at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, this Friday through Sunday. The four-mile track is a great venue for head-to-head Seventies Superbike racing as well as for vintage racers in many different classes (including those crazy sidecar riders) from the 1920s to the 1970s. New and vintage motocross, cross country and observed trials competition will also be featured on one of several off-road courses at the event.
The show will also have a vintage bike parts swap meet, and there will be representatives on hand from various classic bike clubs to further educate spectators on the bikes and the racing series.
Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are $30 per day. Parking and grandstand seating for the races are included. For more information, visit AHRMA.org.
