We posted an item in February about the Newburgh, New York-based Motorcyclepedia Museum acquiring Pit Lengner’s Wall of Death, which has been on display at the museum since late last year. Previous owner and Wall of Death stunt rider Pit Lengner was on hand to kick off the opening of the exhibit by performing some of his gravity-defying feats, and now Lengner will return for an encore this Saturday, April 21.

The museum has also recently acquired the Wall of Death car, a chain-drive, wood-framed, roadster-bodied car with what looks to be a 1920s 1,301cc side-valve four-cylinder Henderson engine and transmission powering the rear axle. After undergoing some repairs, it should be available for viewing the day of the event.

Four shows will be presented during the course of the day: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include admission to the museum. For more information, call 856-566-9065 or visit MotorcyclepediaMuseums.com.

The museum also announced that it will host a MidAmerica Motorcycle auction during its spring festival on May 19. The auction will offer more than 300 new and antique motorcycles. For more information and a list of early consignments, including this 1960 Ariel Leader, visit MidAmericaAuctions.com.
