Got an email from Tod Mesirow, the new executive producer of TLC’s Overhaulin’. Looks like he’s now accepting submissions for a new season of the reality show. And it looks like he’s not just going to limit the show to Southern California, as in previous seasons. Score one for the flyover states.
We’re looking for cars and people - cars with stories, people who deserve to have their car “Overhauled.”
And it might help to remind people that they’re not supposed to nominate themselves and their own car, as that might diminish the surprise element - we received one submission of this sort recently.
Chutzpah ain’t dead, it seems.
