Wind and track conditions at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele Utah made for an interesting qualifying session. With track conditions at the slipperiest they have been all season long, the cross between; snot, ice and marbles was the only way that the best drivers in the series could directly relate to the unusual dirt. Once wet, the track would take about 5-6 laps to get worked in but unfortunately for the racers, 6 laps was all they had to qualify. As if that wasn’t enough, wind gusts between 20-30 miles an hour caused havoc and enabled drivers to obtain consistent lap times. Utah will be the wild card, expect the unexpected.
