 What’s better than a red, white and blue AMC for the 4th of July? Tony Lazzarini bought his AMX new in 1968 at age 22 and started racing it in SCCA A-Production Classs four years later.  I have always enjoyed supporting a good cause which is why I thought that it was great that Bentley is auctioning one of their a static prototypes for charity. This Continental GT was built in 2003. However as you can see it is no ordinary prototype, firstly it is a Bentley but then there is the fact that it has been adorned with art work by Romero Britto.  Schneller geht es nicht: Dank seiner hohen Beschleunigungsleistung erhielt der Nissan GT-R einen Eintrag in der italienischen Ausgabe des „Guinness Buch der Weltrekorde“. Von 0 auf 100 km/h benötigt der japanische Supersportwagen lediglich 3,5 Sekunden. Damit ist der GT-R das schnellste Serienfahrzeug mit vier Sitzen.

So hilft McChip-DKR dem kleinen Fiat 500 1.3 Multijet 16V Diesel auf die Sprünge: Statt der serienmäßigen 75 PS und 145 Nm leistet der 500er nach dem Eingriff 95 PS und 185 Nm Drehmoment.  One of the coolest things I’ve ever done was cover the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb, and since it’s the view from the summit which inspired Katharine Lee Bates to write “America the Beautiful,” I figured this classic footage deserves some sunlight. “Climb Dance” won a laundry list of awards, and it does a hell of a job capturing the magnificent beauty and harrowing racing of Pike’s Peak. Happy birthday America, I love you! Have a great 4th everyone!

 Am Bus wurden die jetzt die Ölschläuche abgelenkt und ordentlich verpresst. Das Fullflowsystem ist jetzt komplett. Ausgang an der Ölpumpe mit Öldruckregelkolben, Ölfilter mit verstärktem FRAM-Filter, Schlauchthermostat mit Gewinde, 7-Reihen- Alu-Ölkühler und zurück zum Motor mit Eingang am ehem. vorderen Öldruckregelkolben.  Die Strecke. Für die Rennen werden oft große Parkplätze, Industriegebiete, Flugplätze und auch Landstraßen-Teilstücke als Austragungsort ausgewiesen. Die Strecken haben fast keine Geraden, nur Kurven, Wenden oder 2,50m bis 3,50 m breite Gassen, die so eingerichtet werden, dass die Slalompiloten vor der Herausforderung stehen, ihr Rennauto fehlerfrei im Grenzbereich durch den Parcours zu bringen.
