By Jen Dunnaway Editor I kind of like the vintage-newsreel treatment on this video. It makes the '76 Caprice look a lot more old-school than it actually is.

The Eleventh running of the 1000 Mile Petit Le Mans resulted in a classic Audi-Peugeot-Audi battle in the last half of the race. Andrew Jennings was at Road Atlanta taking these fantastic images for us. There was drama even before the race had started. 2nd place starter Allan McNish lost control on a warm-up lap and spun his Audi R10 TDi into the barriers. The Scott managed to get the deranged car back to the pits where the Audi crew set to repair the car. “I lost control of the Audi...

Downtown Long Beach is such a nice place to visit. Occasionally, I have to go there for meetings at the Belle 1 Communications or Formula D offices, or occasional events like Formula D Long Beach or the Spocom show. On the day of the Spocom show, just as I was wondering if I'd have enough time to check out the new arrivals at Proper, I spotted this UCF10 in the parking structure. I happen to have a black UCF10 in my garage among my old school Toyota collection, so I definitely had to stop...

By John Coyle Editor Only a very small section of Aston Martin's limited-edition One 77 was on display in Paris last week, but this promotional video leaves a little less to the imagination. Now, I think multi-million dollar cars are kind of silly, but I still think this baby looks gorgeous. And with a 700 horsepower V12 under the hood, it should be a blast to drive.

We always like to show support for our favorite magazines and websites, and Japanese Nostalgic Car is one of the most dedicated enthusiast websites/publications around. After debuting their first print magazine issue earlier this year, they have just finished their second issue which will be received by subscribers soon. After glancing at the cover, it looks like it will again be packed full of cool stuff about old school Japanese iron. For more info be sure to visit the JNC website. -Mike...

I'm not a big fan of the Subaru Impreza, but I do see a lot of potential in them. Especially when they are mated with a set of classic BBS wheels. I really like the stance of this car, and I feel that the BBS RS can make any car look good. I also saw a red Impreza with gold BBS wheels, but that combination didn't worked well. The black of this Impreza together with the silver of the wheels looks much better. What do you think about this setup? -Jeroen Willemsen Spotted on JDM Style...

By John Coyle Editor Starting in 2010, all Fords will come with MyKey, a programmable system that will make seat belt warnings impossible to ignore, and will also be able to limit a vehicle's top speed and radio volume. Obviously, it's designed so parents can keep young drivers in check, and I can't imagine too many teens are going to love the idea. But given that most kids don't get to tell their folks what kind of car to buy, I think this could be a great selling point for Ford. What do...

By Ryan Porter Smart Car Dork Last week I picked up the latest SEMA Show Daily hoping for a glimpse into SEMA 2008. Instead, I was shocked and dumbfounded to see these wheels on a Bentley Continental Flying Spur. I may be alone on this, but I think it's a fair say this is the ugliest Bentley I've seen.

By Jen Dunnaway Editor Something tells me that this suburban commuter's sweet skate-ramp jump was not an intentional maneuver. Maybe this is why your mom is always telling you not to leave your toys out.

The say a picture is worth a thousand words but this one is almost beyond value, you could not buy these cars at any price, they are truly constructed of Unobtainium.  Ferrari 330 LMB (one of only four built) leads Ferrari 250 GT SWB "Breadvan", Ferrari 250 GTO and the poor relation a Jaguar E type "lowdrag coupe""............this is the contents of the vault of an automotive Fort Knox and the treasures are being raced! With the period setting in a glorious location, the serious competition...

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief Scott Smith came back from the Toledo 24 Hours of LeMons with some great footage from the race. The in-car video is a bit choppy because Scott was literally shooting with one hand and driving with the other (I'm not sure our buddy Gary Faules will approve). So here it is, edited together by Andy Hanson, our hot shot video guy. Scott also provided some commentary, which I pasted after the jump. Enjoy!Opening scene, just set up our pit tent and getting the final...

By Jen Dunnaway Editor At every track I go to, I'm always curious to see what kinds of rides the fans show up in. The Road Atlanta crowd sure had a diverse array of cars, from beaters to exotics—and the percentage of old-school content was higher than I'd anticipated. Click below the jump to see a whole gallery of fan rides from the Petit Le Mans this weekend. Check out the Amoco Ultimate Your Car Is Worth It Photo Contest. They're giving away gas money on a weekly basis, and one Grand...

By Don Roy UberDrive Magazine Labor Day weekend is often a bittersweet rite of passage for many people, signaling the end of summer and the return to a more hectic pace of life, whether at work, school or home. In Motor City, the hectic pace descended a few days earlier, as three different racing series arrived for the Detroit Indy Grand Prix presented by Firestone—a weekend blowout of competition, celebrated on Belle Isle, Detroit’s playground in the river. Participants in the IndyCar...

You might have heard people say that Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. It may well be, but that certainly doesn't mean that you can't find cool stuff for free in Tokyo. For example, how about the chance to see F1 and Super GT race cars performing demo runs in addition to seeing some of the Japan's most historic race cars? That is just the sort of things that visitors to the 2008 Motorsport Japan Festival could see over the weekend. This was the third MSJ event...
