Yes, it’s time for the Saturday shoutout again. Only this week’s been a little different. Genau genommen zählt der Skoda Fabia ja nicht unbedingt zu den sportlichen Vertretern der Gattung “Kleinwagen”. Doch getreu dem Blixa Bargeldschen Motto “Was ist ist, was nicht ist ist möglich” hat Skoda nun ein durchaus sportliches Sondermodell aufgelegt.
Dynamische Optik nennt es die Auto-Presse und im Einzelnen können wir uns über eine zweifarbige Lackierung, Spoiler an Front und Heck und die obligatorischen getönten Scheiben freuen.

I took the Bullitt out to West Seattle last night to meet my buddy over at West 5. So among the lots at Barrett-Jackson’s inaugural Las Vegas auction later this month (aside from Carroll Shelby’s MG TC, his first race car), we spied lot 175, billed as the “Thunderous Cyclops.” Of course, with a name like that, we had to investigate. Am Anfang stand die Zeichnung und diese hatte ich bereits im Juni - hier im Carmondo-Blog - gezeigt. Zu dieser Zeit war lediglich klar, dass Seats neue Limousine auf den Namen “Exeo” getauft wird und ich konnte es mir nicht verkneifen, angesichts dieses Namens die Frage aufzuwerfen, ob der Wagen tatsächlich über irgendetwas hinausgeht.
Nun: er tut es, allerdings nur dann, wenn man Seat selbst als Vergleichsmaßstab heranzieht. Mit drei Benzinern und einem Leistungsspektrum zwischen...

 Immer wieder meldet sich jemand, ob denn die Sonderregelung (kein Zoll, 6% Einfuhrumsatzsteuer) beim Import von Oldtimern (älter 30 Jahre) über Rotterdam noch immer gilt. Aktuelle Auskunft: JA. Mein Kontakt in Holland bestätigte gerade wieder, dass die Regelung weiterhin besteht. Wie lange noch? Kein Kommentar.
Aber lohnt sich dann die Verschiffung über Rotterdam? Selbst wenn die Regelung fallen sollte, stellt man sich nicht schlechter, als beim Import über Bremerhaven, also gibt es nur etwas...
