How does 335kW, 588Nm and a 0-100kph sprint time of 4 seconds sound? Pretty good right? Now, what would you get if you put that kind of performance in a Mazda CX-7 crossover? You'd get the world's fastest soccer mom, of course. Japanese car nerds enthusiasts rejoice! If you've ever wanted to track down those rare, elusive sales brochures for your favourite J-classic, then search no more: The Catalog Gallery of Automotive Nostalgia has got you covered.

The Catalog is entirely in Japanese, although it's really the pictures that speak the loudest. The blog format might make finding what you're looking for a tad time-consuming, but the upside is that if you've got a few hours to kill you can easily waste them on this site. Practically all the well-known Japanese brands are there: Subaru, Mitsubishi, Honda, Nissan, Datsun, Prince... the list goes on. The breadth of material available is quite extensive, and there's a wealth of pretty pictures to keep your interest piqued and your productivity low.

ME: "So, do you come with the car?"
HER: "Tee hee, oh you..."

There's also a bunch of brochure scans from non-Japanese automakers, including many now-defunct manufacturers like Austin, NSU and Simca. It's a great trip back in time, and it's fascinating seeing these relics from the birth of the Japanese auto industry. You can check out the Gallery here.
