If nothing else, digging through the box of archive photos from late 1970s issues of Hemmings Motor News has provided quite an education in little-known furrin’ cars. Reader Mark Belden sent in a few photos of a couple old pickups slowly disintegrating on his in-laws’ property near Kingsbury, New York. Apparently the Studebaker was prone to transmission trouble so it got pushed over the bank sometime in the 1960s. I do not know what happened to the Ford.
