 Ich war gestern mit der Flex durch den Fahrzeugboden unterwegs. Neuen Drahtbürstenaufsatz von der Veterama draufgeschraubt und Feuer. Meine Herren, staubte das mal wieder. Als ich mir das erste mal die Nase schneuzte und spontan anfing "workin in a Coalmine" zu trällern suchte ich dann doch mal nach nem Atemschutz. In der Stricher Leiche lag ein voller Karton damit und den habe ich auch gefunden. Und so wich nach und nach der Rost aus dem Fußraum.

Since I've never really had a proper ramp, I've always found putting motorcycles into trucks to be a pretty stressful experience. And when I saw how flimsy this dude's set-up looked—and how fast he came at the truck—I knew he was going to have some problems. Fortunately, nobody got hurt, and it looks like nothing got terribly messed up. Think he'll be more cautious next time?

Die Zusammenarbeit von Automobilherstellern und Designern ist ganz sicher keine Revolution. Es gab in den letzten Jahrzehnten immer wieder Kooperationen großer Namen aus diesen zwei Welten.
In diesem Jahr hat sich die französische Traditionsfirma Hermès auf der Pariser Automobilausstellung einer Fahrzeugikone angenommen. Ein 1989er 2CV6 Special ist die Basis für dieses Anschauungsobjekt. Nachdem Hermès sich bereits an der Gestaltung eines Bugatti bewiesen hat, haben die Franzosen sich dieses Mal ein deutlich weniger luxuriöses, aber mit Sicherheit ebenso auffälliges Fahrzeug ausgesucht. Zugegeben, die Innenausstattung ist mindestens so teuer wie der komplette Wagen. Aber darum geht es ja gar nicht.

Toyota recons that the new iQ is more spacious than it looks from the outside, and when they invited me to come and have an exclusive look around the inside of the car I had an idea. Car manufactures releasing small cars always do some crap where they put some contortionists in and hey presto it looks big. I decided to use a basketball team and some pretty girls instead! So I thought I had the whole Vehicle Speed Sensor thing figured out a year ago. Turns out, after actually driving the car, that I was wrong. The 1987-1990 Cherokee/Wrangler VSS doesn’t send the proper signal for the 1991-1995 Chrysler fuel injection system that I’m using. Which meant the engine wanted to stall at every stop sign unless I very carefully eased my foot off the gas.
