Yenko hat es damals vorgemacht, Hennessey Performance Engineering macht es ihnen gleich und hat soeben den HPE700 angekündigt. Der HPE700 ist ein 2010er Chevrolet Camaro SS mit einem LS9 V8 Motor aus der Corvette ZR1, welcher mittels Kompressors eine Leistung von 705 PS und 972 Nm Drehmoment, leistet.  In 1959 Honda established a US subsidiary. They wouldn’t sell cars for another decade, but at the time they moved plenty of motorcycles. Now, a half century later, they’re the second best selling Japanese brand in America.
On New Year’s Day 2009, Honda sent a 50-foot robot to destroy all humans kick off its 50th anniversary year at the Rose Bowl Parade. Today, they released this logo accompanied by not much else in terms of info.

Justus Taylor (right) passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2008.
Justus was one of those self-motivated Yankee geniuses that could’ve easily been an engineer, but was just as satisfied living in a one-room cabin, living on the few bucks he made making sandals.

So last year we wrote down
what we thought would be hot and not in 2008. Our crystal ball isn't perfect of course, so we had to see how the year went before we were proved right or wrong. Whilst we expected some trends to be on display in 2008 on cars, we were also judging by the rise of interest on forums and blogs in particular areas because building a new car can take more than a year!
