By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief So I really didn't have much time with this car, and I'm rushing to finish stuff up and go on vacation, but here goes. First of all, about the Malibu in general: this is a great package. The car looks nice and drives great. Ergonomics are first rate. I'm not usually one to mention interior materials, but I was expecting a bit more after all the hype when this car was first introduced. I also found the interior's two-tone color scheme somewhat off-putting. Oh,...

By Rob Editor-in-Chief This was one of our most popular Showroom Showdowns ever, and also one of the most divisive. The voting was really really close, and there were a ton of multiple posts, so I'm calling this one a draw, folks. They are both awesome rides, and two all-time favorites on CarDomain.

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief Here's a look at the new Mazda3 sedan, which has broken cover before it's official reveal at the LA Auto Show. Seems like a nice, sporty little package, though I'm not wild about the front bumper and grill. Tons more pics and details at Jalopnik.

By Rob Editor-in-Chief The 2010 Nissan 370Z and the 2010 Ford Mustang GT are the biggest stories this week. Yes, the Mustang has more seats, more cylinders, it's heavier, has a live rear axle, has a bit less hp and will be a tad cheaper, but you know this is an emotional decision, so let's not get too hung up on the details. Which would you choose?

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief Patrick Ernzen got some great pics of this beautiful and rare '62 Ferrari 250 GTO at a recent Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale, Arizona. This car was raced at Sebring in 1962, where it placed second overall and first in GT with Phil Hill and Oliver Gendebien behind the wheel. I haver three more pics after the jump, but be sure to check out the full gallery with hi-res photos over at Desert-Motors.com.

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief We just got our hands on a 6 speed Challenger R/T. Man, it's easy to roast the tires on this thing, even with the traction control on. The car feels pretty porky, but it sticks through corners. I think I preferred the overall proportions of the Bullitt we had last month, but the Mustang doesn't come with a Hemi or IRS. Anyway, we have the Mopar for a full week, so stay tuned...

By John Coyle Editor When the kids on my block were getting into RC cars back in the day, the Porsche 962 model was the hottest thing around. And even though I didn't know anything about its impressive race record, the second I saw it, the 962 became one of my absolute favorite cars. For a while, it even surpassed the Lamborghini Countach as my number one—no small feat in the early '80s. So I was beyond stoked when I saw this baby in the Dunlop booth. It was the second 962 Stuttgart...

By Katherine Helmetag AKA atomicalex This 1967 Camaro RS is owned by Stan Neiman and showed up at the Classic Automotive Interiors booth. CAI designed a new front seat for the car that features—gasp—bolsters! The upholstery matches the original and the new seat foams and skins mount on the stock frames for extra concours points. The car is driven daily by Stan and his wife, who are reported to have never put the top up! See more.

By Katherine Helmetag AKA atomicalex I wasn't able to find anyone to tell me about this showroom-fresh 1968 Pontiac GTO restoration. The metallic green vinyl interior is amazing—pics don't do it justice. The outside and engine bay are equally sharp, with none of the overdone-ness that usually accompanies restoration these days. Original Parts Group stayed true to their name with this car. Check out the wacky turn signal indicators on the dash after the jump.

By Jen Dunnaway Editor If I could go back to the future, I'd hook a tow-dolly on my DeLorean, set the clock to go back 20 years or so, and haul home something like this never-titled, never-registered Grand National GNX with 9 original miles on the odometer. Turns out that if I had an extra $100K lying around, I wouldn't have to! Less than 3 hours left on the auction. Many thanks to Eric for finding this!

By John Coyle Editor When we had out Bullit Mustang test car, fuel efficiency was the last thing any of the editorial staff was thinking about. But inventor Doug Pelmear claims that after some engine modifications, his '87 Pony is getting 100MPG. Other than the fact that it runs on ethanol, there are no specifics, so I think I'm going to side with the skeptics over at Jalopnik and wait to see some proof before I freak out about this supposedly revolutionary car. Fortunately, Pelmear will be...

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief It wasn't an easy fit, but the GReddy supercharger is now installed on 0-60 Magazine's Lexus IS F. Sounds pretty wicked. I can't wait to see this thing at SEMA in two weeks.

By Rich Truesdell Automotive Traveler For so long, Ford's F-Series has been the most popular vehicle sold in America. All that changed this summer when gas prices spiked over four dollars nationally, giving Detroit--as well as other manufacturers--the answer to the question, "What will it take for Americans to truly change their vehicle purchase selections and driving habits?" We got our answer, and even with the recent retreat of fuel prices, seismic changes have taken place. Into this...

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief Wow, these 0-60 guys have made some progress since the last time I checked out their ride page. They put in a custom cage, upgraded the suspension with some Tein stuff, installed a bunch of Seibon carbon fiber body panels, and now they're getting ready to bolt on this burly GReddy supercharger. Can't wait to see how it all comes together.

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief We've only had the Bullitt a few hours but have already had several fights over the keys. It's amazing how many errands needed to be run today. Our test car came with almost 12,000 hard miles on the clock, but the clutch still feels pretty good and the cars seems pretty tight. The engine pulls nicely, we love the feel of shifter and the exhaust sounds pretty tough. Oh, and the Highland Green looks amazing. More pics after the jump, and stay tuned for more on...

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief Miranda Built in Fort Lauderdale is building a burly 1970 Chevelle which will be featured by Magnaflow at SEMA. It looks like they started with a fairly clean and straight car, but it's getting the full treatment, with a powdercoated frame and suspension, air bags, big Wilwood brakes, a supercharged LS2, and, as you might imagine, a custom Magnaflow stainless exhaust. Check out the ride page for tons of pics of the build so far.

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief At first I thought our Ford Edge test car was a DUB edition, with the big chrome 20" wheels and 245/20 Pirellis. Turns out this wheel/tire package is an $895 option on the AWD Limited. And with the navigation and whatnot, this baby optioned out to around $38,000--a pretty hefty chunk of change. Like the Hyundai Santa Fe we reviewed last week, the Edge is a mall cruiser, but without the off road pretensions. And it has a lot in common with the Mazda CX-7. But...

By John Coyle Editor When I first saw pics of Jaguar's XF, I was a little deflated. While the grill gives me a vague Jag vibe, I don't think the front end is nearly aggressive enough. Right now, only real estate agents and retirees unconcerned with resale value drive Jag sedans. The XF was supposed to be hot enough to make young professionals who'd otherwise opt for an Audi or BMW drop their iPhones. I wanted to see something bold. Something that screamed vicious. Something I'd notice from...

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief Ok, full disclosure here. I don't really "get" the whole SUV thing. When I was in high school, one of my best friends had a Jeep Cherokee which we often took up to Lake Tahoe to go skiing. It worked ok, but I always thought my other buddy's Saab was a better snow car. Now, I definitely get Wranglers and 4x4 pickups if you are hardcore about going off-road. And I get full size trucks and SUVs when you have to tow or haul stuff. But most of the smaller or...

By Rob Editor-in-Chief Ok, so I'm mixing it up again, but these cars are both brand new for the 2010 model year. Pricing isn't official, but the V8 Camaro and 370Z will likely start somewhere near (and probably north of) the $30k mark. Yes, the V8 Camaro has more hp and more seats, but that comes with more weight. The 370Z's 3.7 liter V6 is expected to put out around 350 hp, while the big 6.2 liter V8 in the Camaro will produce around 400 hp. Both cars are RWD and have IRS. Oh, and the...

By Rob Einaudi Editor-in-Chief What would you daily drive if you won the lottery? I don't play the lottery much, but this is still a question I ponder quite frequently. Well, I think I finally have the answer... This weekend, Aston Martin kindly invited me to sample their new 2009 V8 Vantage. Although the sheet metal is basically unchanged (and seriously, why mess with it?) the car had received some modest updates, and the V8 had been bumped up to 4.7 liters and a very healthy 420 hp. Hey,...
