Ich mag keine Plastikstoßstangen. Also saß ich vorm Pirat und überlegte mir, was ich vorne mo0ntiere. Ich hatte Zusatzstoßstangen von Mercedes. Da werden die unter bzw. über die eigentlichen Stoßstangen geschraubt. Die obere ist von der Heckflosse, die untere vom /8 Coupé. Beide Sätze nicht mehr so 100%ig, deshalb für relativ Schmales auf der Veterama geschossen. Hingehalten, überzeugte mich nicht wirklich - das war alles zu schmal. Pacific Performance Engineering Duramax C-10

This is an amazingly sanitary conversion. It is a 1970 Chevrolet C-10 with a 6.6L Duramax Diesel dropped into the engine bay. Putting on the Finishing Touches at the Hyundai Booth

One of the coolest things about being at SEMA before the show officially opens are all the little behind the scenes looks you get before all the riff raff gets here. Today, one of the neatest things I saw was this artist hand painting a graphic on to one of the Genesis sedans in the Hyundai booth. Produktionsrekorde für japanische Autos in China

Auch die drei großen japanischen Automobilhersteller profitieren vom boomenden Automarkt in China. Toyota, Honda und Nissan haben im September in ihren chinesischen Werken neue Produktionsrekorde aufgestellt. Nissan produzierte mit 55.174 Einheiten 62,9 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahressmonat, Toyota erreichte mit 64.880 Autos ein Plus von 37 Prozent, Honda mit 60.741 Fahrzeugen einen Zuwachs von 16,6 Prozent. Bio-Verbundwerkstoffe könnten in Karosserieteilen schon bald in Serie eingesetzt werden. Flensburger Punkte-Konten können zum Teil durch ein Bonussystem abgebaut werden.
