 Die Designkonzepte für Elektrofahrzeuge werden immer skurriler, wie auch der umweltfreundliche Elektroflitzer Re-Volt aus Polen beweist. Mit grünem Lack und großen Rundscheinwerfern erinnert der emissionsfreie Stadtflitzer in der Tat an einen Frosch. Aber abgesehen vom futuristischen Design verfügt das 3,07 Meter lange Elektroauto genügend Platz für insgesamt 2 Insassen, wobei die Sitze hintereinander positioniert sind.

 Auch in der Tuning-Branche ist die Wirtschaftskrise schon seit längerem angekommen und macht vielen Unternehmen zu schaffen. Ähnlich wie auf der vergangenen IAA in Frankfurt wird die Essen Motor Show in diesem Jahr eine Nummer kleiner ausfallen als in den letzten Jahren. Statt der 550 Firmen und 105.000 Quadratmeter Ausstellungsfläche im Jahr 2008 werden dieses Jahr nur 400 Tuning-Unternehmen ihre Produkte auf 80.000 Quadratmetern zeigen.

Fast nicht glauben können habe ich heute die News, dass das Road Runner Concept von Michael Leonard auf Ebay zum Verkauf stehe. Nochmal die Augen gerieben und auf Michaels Homepage nachgesehen und tatsächlich. Eine amerikanische Firma aus dem sonnigen Kalifornien hat sich dieser Aufgabe gestellt und baut auf Basis eines 2009 Dodge Challengers HEMI 6.1 dieses absolute Einzelstück.  Wieder mal konnte ich eine Fahrgestellnummer und ein Typenschild an den Frontbalken des Zwischenbodens schrauben.
Sind verdammt viele 32B unter den neusten Nummern. Schlachte ich einseitig?
Die Fahrgestellnummer war so ziemlich das letzte, was den Motorraum verlies. Der is jetzt wirklich leer.
Auch die Servo ist draußen - diesmal mit Lenksäule, die is nämlich anders, als bei Fahrzeugen ohne Servo.
Schon ne Schande, der Wagen hatte wirklich wenig Rost. Ich hab wirklich kaum was...

EcoFuel in Lissabon Richtung Russland gestartet. Ziel war es den größten

 I was in the both the Loma Prieta earthquake in the SF Bay Area in 1989 (6.9 on the MMS) and in the Nisqually earthquake in Seattle in 2001 (6.8 on the MMS) and have to say the Seattle quake felt a lot more violent to me (I was roughly the same distance to the epicenter in each). My dad is also a geologist. So needless to say, I take earthquakes seriously. Not to mention the fact that just this weekend I had fish and chips with my daughter right next to the red barn in the middle of this video....
